I have the best experience doing the Gua Sha treatment by Donna. I went on a Saturday morning. Although feeling under the weather at first due to my pregnancy, after some hesitation, I decided to keep my appointment and went. One of the best decisions I ever made. Donna is so caring, and her hands have the best touch and I felt so much better after the treatment. My skin turned better, and the materials she used was so good to smell that my whole person felt so much better afterwards!

My experiential key words for Donna’s Gua Sha treatment: Rejuvenating, Relaxing, DecompressingFull review: I have quite a stressful job, and work from home, off a laptop. Weekends are mostly DJing (leaning over decks and generally standing up in stressful noisy places, playing hard techno). Therefore, it’s safe to say I have a lot of stored up tension, stress, and even anxiety, along with the daily stresses of life ☺Donna’s treatment focused on the upper half of my body with a focus on the facial aspects. It’s called Gua Sha (she explains it better than I ever can on her website ☺). It lasted about 90 mins and it was absolutely wonderful. I came away feeling therapised, cared for, and even listened to (Donna seems to be able to elicit conversations that help to relax me, while doing the treatment). So this is the triumvirate of healing as I see it.I’m a bit picky about therapists splashing any old oil and spritzer and chemicals, and so, Donna patiently explained the provenance of all what she uses and used. For instance, she used only organic skin care by Eminence (they have replanted 20 million trees since being in business), crystal (not synthetic) Gua Sha tools, and applied a mask made of jade crystals (for the eyes), all in order to release tension, stagnant energy, and release some of the pent up energy. There was also the spritzer made from the exquisite Hierba Luisa (Lemon Verbena), which has powerful anti-oxidant properties, and helps to relax and rejuvenate the skin.She also used low-level LED lights to boost collagen production, and finished off with the Tibetan bowls for clearing chakras.Now, as a self-proclaimed rational scientist, all this was something I used to turn my nose up at. But in the past 5 years, having followed a more Buddhist/spiritual path, I see so many benefits in leveraging the habits, customs, and techniques from the far East, thus allowing us stressed Westerners to gain some benefits from that. So for that alone, I thank Donna whole-heartedly. However, the biggest gratitude goes to Donna for singlehandedly bringing something so wholesome and sacred to Rickmansworth (she also has a clinic in Covent Garden), and for me, this is noble and honourable, and the least we can do is to support her, so that she can keep supporting us all.Peace and love to you all out there

Donna does the best facials in central London. Her holistic approach means that every facial is different and adapted to my skin issues at the time. The use of gua shas, rollers and amazing products (plus a calming playlist) make this experience all the more enjoyable. My favourite time each month is my facial with Donna. I was drawn to Donna as she uses natural products and traditional methods to improve the skin and face. It is such an amazing treatment and well worth the money. The gua sha stones really helps to lift the face and drain any excess fluid but for me it relaxes all the tight muscles I have in my jaw, neck and upper shoulders. I absolutely love the poultice, which Donna handmakes, its heated and feels wonderful to calm the skin. My face always looks so glowing & fresh afterwards and I don't even need to wear make-up. I normally float out of the room I am so chilled out! Also Donna is such a kind and beautiful person, who I love spending time with. Thank you xxxxx

Having a facial with Donna is not just a facial. It is a full body, mind and soul relaxation. Donna has hands of an angel! The room has a peaceful feel to it and all the products Donna uses are natural which I love. My skin always glows for days after my facial treatments. Donna has a wealth of knowledge with different modalities , my favourite is the gua sha fusion. She has a warm, soothing presence and she has given me loads of advice for my skin. My facial with Donna was first class, her home treatment room is clean and comfortable. I’ve had many facials in the past few years from different beauticians using different methods but I found Donna’s practice to be best by far. Donna was forthcoming with her knowledge with a list of tips for me post treatment and I was also able to buy a few of the Crystal tools that she uses in her treatments which I found very useful. AT LAST A TOP HOLISTIC FACIALIST IN HERTS!! I am delighted that Donna is doing her amazing facials in Rickmansworth. I used to go into London once a month for a treatment with Donna but obviously with Covid that stopped me getting my monthly fix. This is not a "normal" beauty facial, this is an energetic healing, a meditation and beauty treatment in one. You won't experience anything like this elsewhere. Worth every penny, I recommend the full 90 minutes.

I’ve been having facials with Donna for around 5 years and I can say, hand on heart, that this woman has magic hands. You will notice a massive difference in your face the morning after, I always look really bright and my skin looks really plump! She is highly qualified in many different techniques, my favourite being gua sha. Her treatments are so relaxing that you always feel your whole body completely unwind. It’s not just a facial.Also, she only uses completely natural ingredients, so for those people like myself who want to avoid synthetic products on the face, she is your go to.HIGHLY recommend. I had the most amazing facial with Donna. I have never felt so tranquil in a facial before, she released so much tension in my face I could barely speak afterwards I was so relaxed.She combines the most amazing techniques, including gua sha, jade roller, sound and vibration healing, smudging and very advanced facial massage. She also uses beautiful, natural skincare. You can see the results instantly after the facial. My fine lines had reduced, my skin looked glowing and plump. I saw Donna for a combined session: facial, and sound healing. The Man Facial was deeply relaxing, and I felt that I was in good hands. Donna only uses natural products, so that's a bonus. She looked after my skin and gave a much-needed light massage through the face and jaw. Such a lovely, pampering treatment - more than your average facial. My favourite time each month is my facial with Donna. I was drawn to Donna as she uses natural products and traditional methods to improve the skin and face. It is such an amazing treatment and well worth the money. The gua sha stones really helps to lift the face and drain any excess fluid but for me it relaxes all the tight muscles I have in my jaw, neck and upper shoulders. I absolutely love the poultice, which Donna handmakes, its heated and feels wonderful to calm the skin. My face always looks so glowing & fresh afterwards and I don't even need to wear make-up. I normally float out of the room I am so chilled out! Also Donna is such a kind and beautiful person, who I love spending time with. Thank you xxxxx

Amazing facial ! The whole experience was very relaxing , my skin looked so much fresher , and many lines had faded. My neck was a lot lighter and the tension had disappeared. Having a facial with Donna is not just a facial. It is a full body, mind and soul relaxation. Donna has hands of an angel! The room has a peaceful feel to it and all the products Donna uses are natural which I love. My skin always glows for days after my facial treatments. My facial with Donna was first class, her home treatment room is clean and comfortable. I’ve had many facials in the past few years from different beauticians using different methods but I found Donna’s practice to be best by far. Donna was forthcoming with her knowledge with a list of tips for me post treatment and I was also able to buy a few of the Crystal tools that she uses in her treatments which I found very useful. AT LAST A TOP HOLISTIC FACIALIST IN HERTS!! I am delighted that Donna is doing her amazing facials in Rickmansworth. I used to go into London once a month for a treatment with Donna but obviously with Covid that stopped me getting my monthly fix. This is not a "normal" beauty facial, this is an energetic healing, a meditation and beauty treatment in one. You won't experience anything like this elsewhere. Worth every penny, I recommend the full 90 minutes.

I’ve been having facials with Donna for around 5 years and I can say, hand on heart, that this woman has magic hands. You will notice a massive difference in your face the morning after, I always look really bright and my skin looks really plump! She is highly qualified in many different techniques, my favourite being gua sha. Her treatments are so relaxing that you always feel your whole body completely unwind. I had the most amazing facial with Donna. I have never felt so tranquil in a facial before, she released so much tension in my face I could barely speak afterwards I was so relaxed.She combines the most amazing techniques, including gua sha, jade roller, sound and vibration healing, smudging and very advanced facial massage. I saw Donna for a combined session: facial, and sound healing. The Man Facial was deeply relaxing, and I felt that I was in good hands. Donna only uses natural products, so that's a bonus. Such a lovely, pampering treatment - more than your average facial. Donna uses a combination of hot and cold throughout which is really soothing and I absolutely loved the use of crystals to ground you.
